Nusrat Jahan

Nusrat Jahan is an Indian Bengali actress and model. She made her screen debut with Raj Chakraborty’s Shotru in 2011. 

Early Life and Education

Nusrat was born in a Muslim family in Kolkata. She completed her schooling at Queen of the Mission School in Kolkata. She received her B.Com degree from Bhawanipore College, Kolkata.

Career

She made an entry into the glamour world after winning Fair One Miss Kolkata, a beauty contest in 2010. She made her acting debut with the movie Shotru opposite Jeet in 2011. She also starred in two item songs, Chicken Tandoori from Action and Desi Chhori from Yodha – The Warrior. She was also a part of the theme song of Bengal Celebrity League named Midnapore Mighties with superstar Dev and Sayantika Bannerjee.

Filmography

She has featured in a number of films including Shotru, Khoka 420, Khiladi, Sondhe Namar Agey, Jamai 420, Har Har Byomkesh and Power. Three of her films are due for release in 2016 including Love Express and Zulfiqar. The name of the third film third has not been made public yet.

Nusrat is the winner of Fair One Miss Kolkata 2010.
